Three lenses every photographer should own
A skilled photographer knows that the body of the DSLR is not everything when it comes to taking good pictures and that the lenses have a huge role in this. There are dozens of lens models on the market and some of our readers that have just entered the fascinating world of digital photography might be confused when having to choose and this is why we thought we should present you the three lenses every photographer should own in our opinion.
The basic 18-55 mm lens that is usually bundled with most entry level DSLR bodies is one of the three lenses that should not be left out from your backpack. Why? Simply because it is extremely versatile and it allows the photographer to quickly switch from photographing close objects to distant ones. If the 18-55 mm lens also comes with image stabilization, it is perfect.
A simple 50 mm lens is essential for every photographer that wants to take wonderful pictures in all light conditions. This is why you should be looking for at 50 mm f/1.8, or even better, for a f/1.4 model, which is more expensive, but will have a lot more to offer.
Last but not least, every photographer should pack a 70-200 mm lens, especially for photographing details of distant objects. Trust us, this is the perfect lens to have on your DSLR if you like travelling and shooting fast moving subjects.
