Fashion and Model Photography

Fashion photography can also be called model photography. The fashion photographer can capture images in digital and film formats. Fashion photographers shoot film of models in clothes, jewelry, make up, cars or anything else a person who is considered very attractive can sell. The idea is that if the model wears or drives or eats the item and is that good looking, so the good lookingsness will become part of the consumer's life as well.

The act of modeling is different from screen or stage acting. Models are showcasing a particular product for sale by consumers who see the ads they pose in on television, in magazines, and in any media that allows for advertisments. Modeling is a form of commercial art and the model not only sells the product but also sells their look so that they can continue to model other products to keep ther modeling careers lucrative.

The model photographer works in studio and on location. He or she must have skills in lighting and direction as models need guidence in posing for the premium end results.

Fashion photography over the last decade has transformed form having fully clthed models to models who reveal parts of their body to accentuate between the clothing and their flesh, creating a sensual atmosphere similar to some erotic photographs.
