Boudoir Photography

A boudoir is a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. Boudoir photographers create images of women inintimate settings in semi or full undress. Boudoir photography is a sensual with no sexual agression photography and a look into the intimate side of women only photography.

It is very important for the boudoir photographer to make the client feel comfortable and to encourage an atmosphere of enjoyment. Boudoir photography not only may emphasize self consciousness but the rapport with the photographer is of upper most importance. If the client doesn't feel comfortable wit her photographer then the photography session will not produce good results. The photographer must project a sense of confidence when speaking to the client. He or she must put the model at ease for a relaxed and intimate feeling. In this type of photography it is the client who calls the shots. She decides what she will wear and how much clothing stays on or comes off.
