Glamour Photography, Beauty photographs
Glamour photography is similar to nude photgraphy and boudoir photography but with some very distinct differences, one of those being that full nudity is usually not involved in glamour photography. What is involved is a fantasy aspect or an enhancement of beauty by way of pose, manner of dress or semi non-dress. Glamour photography is a sensual expression of the female form.
Glamour photography started in the 1940's. It was the erotic photographing of women in ligerie or swimsuits. Glamour photography has changed over the years and involves more nudity now than it did when it started 6 decades ago.Glamour photography is non pornographic, but at times the term "glamour" photography is used as a screen for pornography.
Glamour photographers do commercial work as well as private sessions. They must possess not only good lighting and photographic skills but also excellent computer enhancement skills. Glamour photographers must also be good directors, as they direct and guide their clients on how to pose for the camera. They must have a good rapport with clients to make them feel attractive and at ease in front of the camera. A glamour model who is ill at ease will most defintaely have poor results from her glamour shots session.
